Maintenance
There are several maintenance products for your paver applications are recommended to minimize the maintenance of your installation. Reading Rock strongly recommends using a polymeric sand or a liquid joint stabilizer to reduce maintenance in the future
Benefits of Joint Sand Stabilization

Preventing Stains
For areas that are susceptible to stains from oil, grease, food and beverage spills, Reading Rock recommends a stain blocking sealer. This is a low maintenance solution to keeping your pavement looking clean for several years to come.
General Cleaning
If you intend on sealing your paver application, please make sure the project is clear of any dirt, debris, efflorescence, etc. For general cleaning of PaverLock concrete pavers, Reading Rock recommends a general stain remover such as the Surebond SB-442.
Efflorescence and Rust Remover
Typical efflorescence, a whitish film on the surface of some pavers, comes from free lime being released from within the concrete pavers. It does not damage the concrete and usually weathers away with time. Efflorescence can be removed with our recommended cleaners specifically made for concrete pavers.
Do not use undiluted acids or other harsh cleaning methods as this may damage the surface of the paver.
Stain Remover
Pavers that have harsh stains (paint, tar, oil, etc.) will require a product specifically formulated for that particular stain. Please contact Reading Rock for additional information regarding this product.
